Some Updates
Well, it’s been a good morning. Whenever I have to wake up early for something, it usually turns out to be a productive day. I woke up at 5:30 this morning to meet with Chris Hubbs of AndrewOsenga.net (We tag-team it), CaedmonsCall.net, and SquarePegAlliance.net. He’s from Iowa but was on a business trip in Seattle and we took the opportunity to meet in person for the first time. We had a great breakfast at IHOP and enjoyed some conversation at Starbucks. We talked about life, liberty, and the pursuit of Geof Morris. We also exchanged fun stories of our encounters with various Square Pegs. It was a good time and I hope to be able to do it again soon.
And I filmed a short interview with Chris. Thoroughly embarrassing.
Also, like I promised, I’m here to tell you that, as of this morning, the Portland Studios Store is now open! Brannon popped online to tell me to tell everyone I know about it, if not the whole world. And I’m more than happy to oblige because the stuff you can buy there is really really cool. There are some wicked awesome T-shirts (did you know that your TV is an Alien?) and a couple great posters, including the new Caedmon’s Call Overdressed poster for only $25 bucks. Awesome stuff.
And this coming Tuesday, the long-awaited Caedmon’s Call record Overdressed will be released. I’m not sure how many of you actually pre-ordered the record (getting you two copies of it), but it is really a great record. I can’t wait for you to hear it. i enjoyed that video interview way more than i should have. good to see some dotnet folks (though i hasten to stick such a small label on such big, err, important men) getting together in the NW. i’m on my way to check out the portland stuidos store…

Hee hee hee. Chris is a great guy. And Chris, I definitely think the bald look works for you. I hadn’t thought so until I saw you in video.

That was a pretty crazy wild impromptu interview. But you guys are enjoying it way too much.
Not a very flattering camera angle, either… of course, there may not be a flattering angle for me. Heh. Good times in Seattle, good to finally get to meet TK.
